"Ahlan wa
sahlan" is Arabic for welcome. You will hear it a lot when you
come to visit Palestine. The Palestinians are very hospitable people
who take good care of their guests.
As a result of the Israeli occupation, tourism and visits to
Palestine diminished. Tourists are being told that it is not safe to
travel to the Westbank and visitors who do come to Bethlehem pay a
short visit to the Church of Nativity after which they immediately
return to Jerusalem. This is a pity, cause there is much more to see
in the Westbank and a lot to discover.
We would like to invite you to come and see the life in Palestine
for yourself!
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us. We would
like to give you advice and help you in your preparations for your
visit to Palestine!
Stay in the Arab Women Union Guesthouse or in the
Bustan Qaraaqa
Farmhouse, both located in Beit Sahour.
